1.      The conference introduction

The Combustion meeting in Taiwan has been held every year since 1990. The colloquium has been the premier local forum for the presentation of scientific contribution in the field of energy, IC engine, Industry Combustion, Propulsion, Spray and Atomizer, Fire, Pollution of Combustion and Novel Technology in Combustion. The meeting provides a forum for the presentation and discussion of research primarily concerned with energy and combustion where there is strong coupling between reaction and fluid mechanics.
